Interviews, walking shots, indoor low light. 160g. Min focus 1ft. Change only when detail shot needed.
Canon RF 85mm f/2 Macro IS STM
Detail lens — swap in and out
Campfire roast, espresso machine, bike frame detail, latte art. Balance RS3 Mini with 85mm if using both today.
DJI RS3 Mini
R6 gimbal — 16:9 smooth motion
Balance heaviest lens first. Power on → Autotune. Pan Follow for walks. Lock for static wide. IS Mode OFF when mounted.
Samsung A25 + DJI Osmo Mobile 8
Merwin's 9:16 Sizzler camera
Open Mimo BEFORE mounting phone. ActiveTrack for interviews. Three shots every shoot: locked wide, push B-roll, walking follow.
DJI Mic 3 Wireless
Primary interview audio
Transmitter on subject collar. Receiver → R6 (3.5mm) or A25 (USB-C). 32-bit float, no clipping. Test before rolling.
Rode Shotgun (hot shoe)
Room + ambient audio
Mounts on R6 hot shoe. Points where camera points. Good for B-roll and room ambience. DJI Mic 3 is PRIMARY.
Tripod + CamGo Case
Locked wide B-camera
RS3 Mini on tripod = second camera angle running while Merwin moves handheld. Steve carries in. Set and leave running.
